Economic value added - a framework for health care executive compensation

Article Abstract:

Healthcare executive salaries are being scrutinized as part of an effort to lower health care costs, and a framework is needed to help determine fair compensation. Any compensation given to a health care executive should include the economic value that this executive adds to the organization. This economic value-added framework helps evaluate the performance and value of an executive.
