Menopause on the Internet: building knowledge and community on-line

Article Abstract:

Nurse educators need to use computer technology to present authoritative information on complex subjects such as menopause. Nursing has not been formally involved in teaching on the Internet, despite growing access to this technology. A for-credit course on menopause taught on the Internet can illustrate the possibilities for building knowledge in a virtual community.
