Mapping care

Article Abstract:

Eighty percent of hospitals are using standardized treatment approaches for handling high-volume medical treatment protocols, but only 20% of hospitals are using computers to help manage treatment plans, according to a survey of 188 hospitals conducted by Andersen Consulting. A survey in 1993 revealed that 57% of hospitals were implementing standardized treatment protocols, but as of 1996, the majority of hospitals continue to manage treatment protocols on paper.
