Project management: break through or bust

Article Abstract:

An explanation of why project managements fail is presented. The failures can be attributed to unreasonable project deadlines, the assignment of unqualified project managers and failure to develop a complete project portfolio. A discussion of the 12-step project management process used by McInnes Steel to identify the MRP II software that would be suitable for them is presented. Some of the important steps are organizing for success, development of a project plan and the implementation of the plan.
