Saint Joseph's Medical Center

Article Abstract:

Saint Joseph's Medical Center of South Bend, IN, hired Villing & Company Inc. of Mishawaka, IN, to reveal its new minimally-invasive heart surgery service. The technique, which is called Port Access, is an alternative to traditional heart surgery techniques. The medical center needed to emphasize the pioneering aspect of this novel technique, stressed Villing account executive Matt Harlow. Harlow noted that other medical centers would have to either follow the lead of Saint Joseph's or not market their heart surgery service at all. Villing delivered its message to the community via newspaper advertisements.
