2001 Career outlook: mixed messages

Figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that safety professionals should enjoy employment increases of 10-20% through to 2008, while stating that mining and manufacturing, the two main sectors that employ safety professionals, will provide fewer job opportunities.
