Mary Alabaster heads a perinatal service in the South Essex Partnership National Health Service Trust that addresses the needs of new fathers as well as new mothers. The clinic offers support services and counseling for fathers before and after the birth of a child to help them cope with the change in their life and to help them become a better support for the mothers of their children.
