Young physician, welcome addition

Article Abstract:

The American Medical Assn's decision to open a new trustee seat to represent young physicians is a welcome change. The trustee will voice the concerns, values and opinions of physicians under the age of 40 or those over 40 but who have been in practice less than five years. Hopefully, the new trustee position will enable the association to respond to the needs of young physicians as well as encourage diversity within the medical profession.
