Advances in virology-Weller and Robbins

Article Abstract:

Thomas H. Weller and Frederick Robbins both served in World War II focusing on the diagnosis and control of malaria and schistosomiasis among inductees and investigating Q fever and typhus. The primary focus of Enders's laboratory was viruses that cause paralysis in mice, including the mouse-adapted Lansing strain of poliovirus.

Buying biosafety-is the price right?

The oppositions faced by the University of Texas and Boston University, in their effort to build a biosafety level 4 laboratory, are discussed. This project is opposed on the ground of being threatening to health.

Weighing optimal graft survival through HLA matching against the equitable distribution of kidney allografts

Article Abstract:

The findings of the case for both sibling-to-sibling and parent-to-child kidney transplantations are reported. The first international organ-sharing organization was started in 1967, according to these findings.
