Antibiotic allergy

Article Abstract:

A case study of a 55-year old woman is discussed who has cellulitis and also reports a history of urticaria 30 years earlier associated with taking penicillin for respiratory tract infection. It is suggested that medical history taking is critical in the evaluation of antibiotic allergy and in distinguishing allergic reactions from other adverse reactions.
