B in blood, C against cancer

Article Abstract:

A study found that men who took vitamin B supplements had increased blood levels of vitamin B. Research also shows that those with adequate intakes of vitamin C have less cancer risk than those with low intakes.

Is vitamin C a life saver? Analyzing studies of C against cancer

Nobel Prize awardee Dr Linus Pauling first popularized the use of vitamin C in the treatment of cancer. Studies since 1974 indicate that discrepancies in vitamin treatment has made the therapy controversial.

Calcium: its back!

Results of a recent experiment with patients indicate that calcium could help lower the body's 'bad' cholesterol level and increase levels of 'good' cholesterol.
