CDC: Autism spectrum disorders common

Article Abstract:

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported that autism spectrum disorders might be more common in the United States than thought earlier. Data released by the CDC suggest that approximately 1 in 150 children in communities studied have an autism spectrum disorder, and a multistate study is being conducted to examine potential causes and for the variation in prevalence across communities.

Multistate outbreak of Salmonella serotype Tennessee infections associated with Peanut butter-United States, 2006-2007

Article Abstract:

Researchers observed peanut butter as a cause of Salmonella serotype Tennessee infection. They further have recommended that consumers stop eating peanut butter brands like Peter Pan and Great Value.
