Cancer patients' satisfaction with physicians: Princess Margaret Hospital Satisfaction with Doctor questionnaire results

Article Abstract:

The Princess Margaret Hospital Satisfaction with Doctor questionnaire can be used to determine if cancer patients are satisfied with their doctor. The questionnaire was filled out by 46 cancer survivors who attended Camp Bluebird in South Carolina. The average overall score was 3, with 4 being the highest score. Satisfaction was not related to intensity of treatment or the time since diagnosis.

Young age as a prognostic factor in cervical cancer: results of a population-based study

Article Abstract:

The death rate in young women with cervical cancer is no higher than the rate in older women. This was the conclusion of a study of 2,000 women with cervical cancer between the ages of 18 and 60. Young women were more likely to have their cancer diagnosed at an early stage.

Domestic violence and physical abuse of women: the Grady Memorial Hospital experience

Article Abstract:

All gynecology residents should receive education on domestic violence. Among 452 pregnant women seeking medical care at a hospital, 24% had a history of abuse and half were currently in an abusive relationship.
