Chemical companies formulate proactive emergency plans

Article Abstract:

The Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 requires chemical companies to come up with emergency management policies to ensure the safety of the community from toxic chemical emissions. It also mandates the creation of state and local commissions that will coordinate emergency preparedness planning.
