Impact of head-to-abdominal circumference asymmetry on outcomes in growth-discordant twins

Article Abstract:

Measuring the ratio of the head and abdominal circumference may identify twin fetuses who will do poorly when one twin is much smaller than the other. This was the conclusion of a study of 572 twin pregnancies with greater than a 25% difference in the body weights of the two fetuses.

Homocysteine plasma concentration levels for the prediction of preeclampsia in women with chronic hypertension

Article Abstract:

Research has been conducted on superimposed preeclampsia in women with chronic hypertension. The authors have investigated midtrimester homocystein concentration levels in predicting preeclampsia, and they report that homocystein concentration levels cannot help in preeclampsia prediction in these women.
