An unusual case of carbon monoxide poisoning
Article Abstract:
Use of explosives at a rain sewer construction site created a pocket of carbon monoxide gas around the foundation of a house, poisoning the adults who lived there. Government and public health authorities, primary-care physicians, and users of explosives must be aware of this kind of potential health hazard.

Radionuclides in the lichen-caribou-human food chain near uranium mining operations in northern Saskatchewan, Canada
Article Abstract:
Uranium mining in northern Saskatchewan appears to pass radioisotopes into the food chain that involves lichen, caribou, and humans. Dose increments of .85 mSv per year for adults consuming 100g of caribou meat a day, which significantly increases cancer risk.
