Does laughter make good medicine?

Article Abstract:

A medical student gives her personal views on the role of laughter and professionalism in their daily lives considering the effect of the presence of humor on the patient and doctor relationship. She believes that allowing oneself to laugh keeps one alive and aware, and in touch with the emotions that allow to care for other human beings, thus creating a special bond with the patients.

Mistakes in the operating room- error and responsibility

Article Abstract:

A third-year student narrates his experience when he was appointed as an intern and was helping in the operation of a patient having a large tumor. Dr. Swift, who operated asked the student to stitch in the wound, which was difficult as the student wasn't an intern and finally committed a serious mistake.
