Article Abstract:

Bodybuilders usually experience a tingling sensation in the elbows or along the digitals after a strenuous workout. The sensation is caused by the irritation of the ulnar nerve, and can be prevented by maintaining an elbow position close to the sides when lifting weights.

A significant decline in aerobic endurance and stroke volume was detected in individuals after detraining. However, aerobic endurance and cardiovascular fitness can be maintained by cross-training.
