Eat to keep cool: a beat-the-heat guide to summer food and drink

Article Abstract:

Iced tea, cold water, lemonade, diluted juice and carbonated soft drinks are good for quenching thirst. Beer is also good, but it does not rehydrate the drinker. Eating watermelon, chili peppers, fresh vegetables and sandwiches in summer is a good idea.
