Efficacy of tropical treatment with Aescin and essential phospholipids gel in a microcirculatory model of venous insufficiency

Article Abstract:

The effects of topical aescin and essential phospholipids gel (AEPL) in a histamine model of acute microangiopathy as compared to microangiopathy observed in chronic venous disease are evaluated. The fidings indicate that AEPL is effective and very active on the skin, in topical applications even at small dosages in a model of acute microangiopathy, comparable to venous hypersensitive microangiopathy and diabetic microangiopathy.

Microcirculatory efficacy of topical treatment with Aescin + essential phospholipids gel in venous insufficiency and hypertension: new clinical observations

Article Abstract:

The efficacy of the effects of Aescin and essential phospholipids (AEPL) gel on the microcirculation in subjects with chronic venous insufficiency, venous hypertension (CVH) and venous microangiopathy is investigated. The findings reveal that the topical treatment with AEPL in areas of venous microangiopathy is beneficial for preventing ulceration, and improving the skin healing processes.

Efficacy of topical treatment with Aescin + essential phospholipids gel on capillary fragility

Article Abstract:

A study evaluating the local capillary fragility with the vacuum suction chamber (VSC) in patients with chronic venous hypertension due to chronic venous disease is presented. The observations of VSC applied in different skin areas showed that aescin and essential phospholipids gel in local treatment detects edema and produces a decreased risk for venous ulcerations.
