Engaging patients in their care

Article Abstract:

The important theme of latest healthcare policy is ensuring that patients can keep taking care of themselves. However, in the UK levels of engagement are not as high as in other countries which is believed to be due to lack of caregivers and lack of support for patient and for this, an open approach needs to be established with a free interaction between patient and his caregiver, encouraging patients to share their experience and knowledge.
