Approval of virtual reality training for carotid stenting

Article Abstract:

Virtual reality for training procedural skills in minimally invasive surgery and proficiency-based training method are encouraging to change the training paradigm in all of procedural-based medicine. The company, which is manufacturing the carotid stend system, is planning to work with physician trainers to educate physician trainees using a tiered training approach including online, multimedia components.

Association between compensation status and outcome after surgery

Article Abstract:

The association between compensation status and outcome after surgery is investigated. Findings revealed that compensation status is associated with poor outcome after surgery.
