8-Hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine, a major mutagenic oxidative DNA lesion, and DNA strand breaks in nasal respiratory epithelium of children exposed to urban pollution

Article Abstract:

Research on children residing in Mexico City indicates that exposure to air pollutants have a negative effect on children's nasal respiratory epithelium. The relationship between DNA damage to the epithelium and air pollution is evaluated.

Customer exposure to MTBE, TAME, C(sub)6, alkyl methyl ethers, and benzene during gasoline refueling

Article Abstract:

The breathing zones of customers refueling at gasoline stations were measured to determine their exposure to methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE), tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME), C(sub)6 alkyl methyl ethers, and benzene.
