Ethical considerations in publishing research involving human subjects

Article Abstract:

The Journal of the American Dental Association requires an independent advisory panel approval for all studies involving human subjects. The concern is not that research have been performed in an unethical manner, but a possible lack of knowledge of important ethical elements that need to be taken into consideration in studies involving human subjects. The US Department of Health and Human Service's Code of Federal Regulations Title 45 part 46 is the basic policy for the protection of human research subjects is elaborated.

Demographic and prenatal factors of patients with cleft lip and cleft palate: a pilot study

Article Abstract:

A pilot study is conducted to investigate the reasons for the congenital abnormalities, cleft lip (CL) and cleft palate (CP), in human. The analysis of demographic and prenatal factors of patients with CL and CP is presented.
