Expanding respiratory care

Article Abstract:

The two common respiratory diseases are asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) need great care, which led the National Institute for Clinical Excellence to publish its new guidelines to manage respiratory diseases. When patients with respiratory problems are admitted to hospital with unrelated conditions, trained nurses need to take special care and hence nursing in this field is becoming a popular specialty.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is an unattractive and self-inflicted disease. A new team is set up to take care of COPD patients and to diagnose, manage and explore the chronic disease.
