Female circumcision

Article Abstract:

The practice of female circumcision should be abolished because of its harmful effects on those subjected to it. The different sectors of society around the world should unite and carefully study the problem to formulate a solution and help eradicate the harmful traditional practice.

New fertility-regulating technologies should be based on the needs and concerns of women. Approximately 300 million couples around the world do not want additional children but continue to neglect the use of contraceptives. Yet, there are several methods of contraception available.
