Five steps for sustaining effective patient partnership working

Article Abstract:

NHS organizations are planning to recruit and involve patients in planning and delivering health care services. The practical examples of recruiting and involving patients in this process and a 'five-step cycle' for sustaining effective partnership working between patients and NHS organizations are discussed.

Continence care for young adults complex needs

The NHS and private sector professionals have started a new service to promote continence in young adults with a broad range of physical and learning disabilities. The students of the Beaumont College are also eligible to receive the service after leaving the college.
