Functional role of matrix metalloproteinases in ovarian tumor cell plasticity

Article Abstract:

The functional role of specific matrix metalloproteinases in the formation of vasculogenic like networks and clinical relevance of matrix in human ovarian cancers with evidence of tumor cell is presented. The result indicates that human ovarian cancers with matrix metalloproteinase over expression are more likely to have tumor cell lined vasculature, which results in ovarian cancer treatment strategies.

Late recurrence of juvenile granulosa cell tumor of the ovary

Article Abstract:

The late recurrence of juvenile granulosa cell tumor (JGCT) of the ovary is discussed. The recurrence was treated with cytoreductive surgery followed by chemotherapy while late occurrences of JGCT is expected to occur.
