Getting to grips with the smoking bans

Article Abstract:

There is a need for increase in smoking cessation services after a nationwide ban on smoking in England effective July 1, 2007 in all enclosed public places is discussed. Even though the people involved in smoking cessation services are trying their best, with the increase in number of people giving up smoking the smoking cessation services are finding difficult to cope.

Developing a health and lifestyle event for middle-aged men

Article Abstract:

A primary care trust organized a health fair for middle-aged men who are less likely than other groups to access primary health care. A number of health problems were identified and the men were referred for further tests or treatment, or given advice on reducing their risk.
