Registered nurses need to update their assessment skills in order to assess Project 2000 students. Registered nurses must also act as role models in clinical placements. They must understand the pressures the students are facing. Students receive a bursary of 4,600 pounds sterling a year for three years. They should work for at least 1,000 hours during the course.
