How to reduce your risk of cancer: a his and hers guide

Article Abstract:

Both men and women should be familiar with the symptoms of cancer and take preventive measures against the killer disease. Though men are more prone to cancer, women should also be on guard against cancer, especially those that afflict the reproductive system. Next to breast cancer which is the leading cause of cancer death among women, these cancers are among the most common types among females. Guides for men and women are presented, describing likely candidates, key warning signs and preventive measures.

Smart vehicles have minds of their own

Article Abstract:

Intelligent transportation systems are slowly becoming a reality with the increased use of collision avoidance systems in heavy trucks. Collision avoidance systems use a transmitter that emits radar signals to other vehicles and a receiver that detects the reflected signals. The system's computer interprets the signal to determine the vehicle's distance and speed. A tone or flashing light is used to alert the driver of an impending collision.

Educate your drivers about highway signs

Article Abstract:

Traffic signs provide vital road information and it is sad to note that the majority of drivers lack the education to help them interpret these signs correctly. A survey of drivers reveals that a good percentage of them misinterpret road signs and this may be a potential cause of accidents. Driver education will help in traffic accident prevention and traffic signs will be utilized more effectively if drivers know what they mean.
