Rising to the nutrition challenge

Article Abstract:

Malnutrition in hospitals has become a political as well as a professional issue as it is on the increase, mainly because nurses are too busy to care for patients who need assistance with eating. The government and professional bodies have come up with protected mealtimes, which create an environment that aids good patient nutrition by cutting out on non-essential ward activities during patients' mealtimes.
