Incidence of diabetes in youth in the United States

Article Abstract:

A study to estimate the occurrence of diabetes mellitus among youth younger than 20 years based on race and other factors is presented. Results concluded that there is a high incidence of diabetes 1 among youth of all races, with the highest in non-Hispanic white youth.

Diabetes among young American Indians-Montana and Wyoming, 2000-2002

Article Abstract:

A report on the importance of evaluating the use of patient databases, to ascertain diabetes among youngsters is presented. The report gives accurate results by using two patient visits rather than one patient visit.

Prevalence of chlamydial and gonococcal infections amog young adults in the United States

Article Abstract:

Substantial morbidity in the United States is caused by chlamydial brachiates and Neisserai. However, it is considered that chlamydial infection may also be linked with cervical cancer.
