Interaction between smoking, genes in rheumatoid arthritis

Researchers in Sweden found that smoking increases risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis (RA), for people who test positive for anticitrulline antibodies, regardless of presence of shared epitope (SE) genes.

The transmission of BANA-positive periodontal bacterial species from caregivers to children
