Iraqi biological weapons still considered a threat

Article Abstract:

Iraq could have its biological warfare program operable within a six-month period, according to an article in the Journal of the American Medical Association of Aug 6, 1997. The 200 staff members of the program are still employed and the 80 research, development and production facilities are intact. There is no independent verification that destruction of these operations took place after the Persian Gulf War.
