Light skin versus dark: a painful topic many blacks would rather not confront

Article Abstract:

Colorism, or the favoring of light-skinned blacks over dark, is a problem with both whites and blacks. Black people must learn to love themselves and the many shades of blacks. One woman makes it a point to confront her friends who regard dark as ugly.
