Limitations in the interpretation of biopsies in patients with penile squamous cell carcinoma

Article Abstract:

Staging and therapeutic decisions of the penile biopsies that are difficult to classify with regard to a benign or malignant nature, and if malignant, cannot always be accurately sub classified rely on the identification. Decision is made to determine whether to perform a groin dissection, or for prognostic evaluation in those patients in whom other treatment modalities are considered.
