Lump in your throat: it's a common sensation, with many possible causes

The medical term for feeling a lump in the throat is globus sensation, and its causes include stress, reactions to some medications and acid indigestion. Treatments include changing medication, keeping the mouth moist and avoiding heartburn.

Soothing minor sore throat pain

Article Abstract:

Tips for relieving minor sore throat discomfort include drinking liquids, gargling with warm salt water and using pain relievers and lozenges. Resting the voice, adding moisture to the air and avoiding air pollutants may also help.
