Lupus: Usually manageable

Article Abstract:

Lupus results when the immune system loses its ability to differentiate between foreign substances and its own cells and tissue and is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease that can affect many parts of the body, including the skin, joints, and brain. With proper treatment, it's usually manageable and medications and lifestyle changes have made living with lupus less of a struggle.
