Get a grip on hand protection

Article Abstract:

A three-part process should be used by employers in addressing employee hand safety issues. The first part is the identification of contributing factors. This factor has three categories, namely: environmental, individual and organizational. The second deals with the planning of objectives. In planning, realistic short-term and long-range goals should be set. Among the goals that should be set are monitoring of effective maintenance schedules and a positive approach to hand safety. Third, a preventive system should be implemented that will contribute to positive changes in the work place.
