Meet Crash Max, Basic Buddy and Little Anne

Article Abstract:

A wide range of models and manikins are available to train health personnel in basic techniques. An examination of the equipment reveals that cardiopulmonary resuscitation manikins have advanced since the days of the basic Resusci Anne model. The Little Anne manikin, for example, incorporates an audible response to correctly-administered chest compressions, and a gauge on the Ambu Man gives feedback on technique. A range of models and manikins from Adam Rouilly provide realistic clinical training in procedures including catheterization, ear syringing, suturing and enema administration.
