Article Abstract:

Bodybuilders should develop a working knowledge of the basics of skeletal-muscle physiology. For instance, muscles fall into three groups, namely, fusiform or strap, pennate and convergent while muscle growth results from the destruction of muscle fibers.

Do pain medications hurt muscle growth

Article Abstract:

The administration of anti-inflammatories such as flurbiprofen for delayed onset muscle soreness due to weight lifting will reduce muscle growth. Pain medications interfere with the normal repair of muscle tissues.
