NAC helps improve muscle performance

NAC, an antioxidant which helps neutralize free radicals or molecules that are highly unstable to cause cell damage, may be beneficial for athletes, according to research. It helps improve muscle performance by preserving lean body mass and supporting higher levels of blood glutamine.
