NT/3M National Nursing Awards 1995

Article Abstract:

The Nursing Times National Nursing Awards for 1995 have been awarded, having had over 250 entries to chose from. The judges were looking for nurses, midwives or health visitors from any field of practice who could demonstrate an innovative approach for improving care through either management orteaching. The judges made personal visits to each of the work environments of the nominated candidate to discuss the project in more depth.

Do nursing home residents use the right to vote?

Article Abstract:

Residents of nursing homes do not vote as much as people within the rest of the community. Only 17.3% of nursing home residents voted in the local government elections in the Midlands in May 1994, compared to roughly 40% of the local voting population. Postal votes were made by 69% of those voting.
