Article Abstract:

The delay in publication of the Eating Right Pyramid devised by the Dept of Agriculture may have been caused by pressure from the food industry. The meat, dairy and bean industries are unhappy with the guidelines, but nutritionists say there should be more emphasis on low-fat, high-fiber foods.
