OPs - gain or pain?

Article Abstract:

Organophosphates (OPs) were developed during World War II and were used, together with a cocktail of vaccines and anti-nerve gas tables (NAPs) during the Gulf War. Health effects vary depending on the dosage, but a combination of acute symptoms constitute OP poisoning according to the World Health Organization Guidelines. Medical causation remains the critical legal problems for Gulf War veterans, agricultural workers and others seek compensation for OP poisoning.

Noise induced hearing loss

Article Abstract:

The Health and Safety Executive has estimated that around 1.3 million workers suffer from exposure to high levels of noise which may permanently damage their hearing and lead to associated problems such as stress. Case studies from the report "Indecent Exposure" are included.

Employers must by law abide by a set of codes for fire safety including making a fire risk assessment. The Health and Safety Executive has produced guidelines for employers and the fire service will provide further advice.s
