Peripheral venous cannulation

Article Abstract:

Peripheral Venous Cannulation (PVC) provides access for intravenous hydration and administration of other pharmacological agents such as antibiotics. PVC is common for the veins in the arms and dorsal network of the hands to be utilized where the most PVC devices are of the 'catheter over needle' design. Reducing risks, preparations and procedure for PVC are also discussed.

Article Abstract:

The proper and correct procedure for measuring body temperature, a useful indicator for monitoring health is described. The right procedure for measuring oral temperature is discussed.
