Physicians will use computers

Article Abstract:

Physicians and other medical personnel at Beth Israel Hospital use computers to find patient information, send and retrieve e-mail and search a bibliographic database. The hospital's computer system was designed to be intuitive and easy to use. Physicians use the computer system voluntarily, but many physicians prefer to use the computer for certain functions rather than rely on paper documents or telephone calls.
