Quantification of ovarian stromal Doppler signals in poor responders undergoing in vitro fertilization with three-dimensional power Doppler ultrasonography

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to test the quantification of ovarian stromal Doppler signals in poor responders undergoing in vitro fertilization using three-dimensional power Doppler ultrasonography. The indexes of the ovarian stormal blood flow in 3D power Doppler indexes are low in poor responders and thus a poor response is observed during HCG administration under controlled ovarian stimulation.

On the sites of the negative and positive feedback actions of estradiol in the control of gonadotropin secretion in the rhesus monkey

Article Abstract:

A bilateral radiofrequency lesion placed in the accurate region of the medial basal hypothalamus of an adult ovariectomized rhesus monkey failed to restore gonadotropin levels. A study has made seminal contributions to understanding the function of the hypothalamus, the pituitary gland, gonads and the biology of reproduction.

The effect of advancing paternal age on pregnancy and live birth rates in couples undergoing in vitro fertilization or gamete intrafallopian transfer

Article Abstract:

The effects of male aging on sperm parameters, fertilization, pregnancy and live birth rates among in vitro fertilization (IVF) or gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT) couples were determined. It was found that advancing paternal and maternal age had a deleterious effect on IVF and GIFT outcomes.
