Second trimester abortion using isosorbide mononitrate in addition to gemeprost compared with gemeprost alone: A double-blind randomized, placebo-controlled multicenter trial

Article Abstract:

The effectiveness and reduction in side effects by using isosorbide mononitrate (IMN) in addition to gemeprost instead of gemeprost alone for second-trimester abortion is determined. IMN along with gemeprost caused more headaches but was found to be more effective than gemeprost alone for second-trimester abortion.
